This temple looked older than time itself. Â It was slowly deteriorating, and it looked like the moss growing all over it might have been playing a role in holding it together. Â Quiet hung around the ancient monument like a child hanging on its mother’s skirts. Â The atmosphere in this off the beaten path temple in Chiang Dao Thailand was exquisite. Â It was moments like this that made out time in Thailand really special!

And its funny how they just sneak up on you…like you’re just walking along and suddenly, out of nowhere, you just stumble upon a 1,000 year old temple that you had no idea that you would find, and it is such magical moment.
